Frederikshavn is a bit like a big city with its rich cultural life, lots of restaurants, cafés and fantastic shopping possibilities – but without the big city’s heavy traffic and bustle. The city, with its attractive red rooftops, lies between green hills and the harbour where the ferries from Sweden, Norway and the island Læsø come in from the blue Kattegat.
